What We Do

There’s no denying that Colorado has globally become one of the most sought-after destinations for epic experiences, and our offices are located in the heart of adventure country. Whether you choose to visit our Glenwood Springs, Vail, or Buena Vista location, you’ll find a mountain of activities to choose from for all ages and abilities.

Glenwood Springs

Glenwood Adventure Company is your one-stop shop for an unforgettable weekend of activities!

We offer multiple river trips for all ages and comfort levels on two different rivers, including an exciting class III section of whitewater through Glenwood Canyon, and a relaxing family float along the Roaring Fork River. You can also kayak alongside the rafts on inflatable “duckies,” practice your standup paddle-boarding on a guided tour, or rent duckies and standup paddle-boards to take to a number of calm water locations in the valley.

For your next adventure, visit our scenic 6,000-acre Bair Ranch in Glenwood Canyon for horseback riding, a guided ATV excursion, an off-road guided Jeep tour, or an afternoon of shooting sporting clays. For a relaxing afternoon, opt for a stunning bike ride through Glenwood Canyon or along the scenic Rio Grande trail from Carbondale to Glenwood Springs.

Vail

Lakota Guides has been operating whitewater rafting adventures in Vail for over 30 years. The breathtaking Vail Valley is home to the Upper Colorado and Eagle Rivers, which provide excellent whitewater for the adventure-enthusiast. We also have a variety of scenic and multi-day raft trips throughout the Western Slope, and can cater to all comfort levels, ages, and abilities.

Just down the highway through Glenwood Canyon, you can drive a RZR Side-by-Side, go for a Jeep ride, enjoy the views by horseback, or shoot sporting clays at our 6,000-acre Bair Ranch in Glenwood Canyon. These are all guided experiences that provide stunning, elevated views of the canyon and surrounding mountains.

Buena Vista

Colorado Rafting Adventures operates along the Arkansas River, which has long been dubbed one of the the nation’s most epic rivers for whitewater rafting. Flowing through Browns Canyon National Monument, there are miles of continuous class II, III, and IV rapids that offer more challenging runs for thrill-seekers. Choose from a number of guided group tours or plan a private rafting trip for just you and your party. With river trips for all levels, you can truly customize your rafting experience to get the most out of your Colorado adventures!
